SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INDIAN STUDENTS TO STUDY IN THE UK 2020

2.      Commonwealth Masters Scholarships: -

Commonwealth Scholarships are offered by the Department for International Development (DFID) in the UK to the international students from developing Commonwealth countries wanting to pursue Masters and Ph.D. in the UK.

The scholarship offers airfare to and from the UK, thesis grant (if applicable), additional allowances to cover personal basic expenses, examination and tuition fees, all included.

 

3.      Commonwealth Fellowship Plan: -

Commonwealth Fellowship Plan is a government initiative that was taken especially for the students of Commonwealth countries which make the major contribution to their home country on the completion of the higher education program in the United Kingdom.

This scholarship covers the entire tuition fee of the scholar, one economy-class return and many more allowances.

4.      Charles Wallace India trust scholarship: -                                                                                         This scholarship is only provided for the visitors. Research student and doctoral students from India can apply for Charles Wallace India trust scholarship.

 

5.      Saltire scholarships: -                                                                                                                              In the collaboration with Scotland universities, Scotland government offers Saltire scholarships. Scotland Government Scholarship Invites Students from Multiple Countries to pursue Masters Degree in Different academic backgrounds in Scotland Higher Education Universities. Saltire scholarship in Scotland provide 1 year duration for masters degree.

Eligibility criteria for Indian students in UK Scholarships are:

·       The student must be an Indian citizen.

·       The Student must have completed their academic education with English medium.

·       The student must have scored well in their academic background.
